Question: Is a brown discharge my first period!?
I use to have a clear discharge for ages and today i woke up and i had browney stuff - is that a period!? i never had one yet and im 13!. im totally scared ! in the morning i didnt feel too well!. im i okay , is t normal!
If its my first period i wont dare to tell my mom and what if i would need pads!.tampons!?!? and when about will be the second one!? im totally scared! :S i dont want to nave a period!
and how long does a period lasts for is it 1 day!? or more !

When I started my period, I felt scared!. My mother was out of town, so I told my older sister!. She gave me a supply of pads, and my mother bought me my own when she came home!. Please tell your mother about it--it's nothing to be ashamed of!.
When your body starts to change, there's not much you can do about it!. The more you know about the changes in your body, the better prepared you will be!. It sounds like you're good at using the computer!. You may want to use different search engines to gather as much information as you can about menstruation!.
What you're experiencing is perfectly natural and normal!. Understand that once you start your period, your fertility status changes!. Talk to your mother about making smart choices!.

yes!.!.!. don't be scared to tell your mom she has (had) them to!. its different to everyone (although most don't feel well during them)!. yes you will need feminine hygiene products!. te average for the next one is the same as a lunar cycle (28 days) but keep pads wit you until like your third one at lest all te time (you most likely wont be regular yet then just bring them with you a couple of days before and after!. not many women do want them but its a sign tat your healthy don't be scared!.!.!. the average length is 5 days but it can vairyWww@Answer-Health@Com
Brown discharge usually happens at the beginning and end of a a woman's period!. You probably started and you might get a heavier more blood like flow in a couple days!. A period lasts between 5-7 days!. Depending on the person!. And you get it every month!. Your Mom will understand when you tell her, she went through the same thing!Www@Answer-Health@Com
it is probably just a sign that you will start your period, but you can have symptoms for up to a year before you actually start!. they usually last for 5-7days and you need to tell your mom so she can get u pads!. you should wear pads since you haven't had one yet then work up to wearing tamponsWww@Answer-Health@Com
yes that is your period!. trust me i felt the exact same way!. i thought there was something wrong with me and didnt tell anyone!. and finally i had my next one and realized it was my period!. and do tell your mom!. because shes experienced it her whole life and can really help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would consider telling ur mom so u can get pads!. (i would start w/ pads first and then when ur comfortable then use tampons) ur first period lasts for about 5 to 7 days and then ur next several periods wont come for a month or two but thats just normal!. then theyll come more frequently (every month) Www@Answer-Health@Com
