Question: Why do I feel so guilty after I watch birth videos on youtube!?
I'm 12 years old and I was curious so I went on you tube and just watched birth videos!. They were a little graphic but I wasn't bothered by it!. But for some reason I feel REALLY guilty!. Nobody knows I did it because its too embarrassing for me to tell!. I think I feel so guilty because I always tell me mom everything! HELP! and is it normal!? and please don't say just tell someone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't feel guilty!.!. You didn't do anything wrong!. It's perfectly nomal to be curious about giving birth (or anything else having to do with being a woman)!. Trust me, guys are just as curious about becomming "a man!." :p
Sometimes your parents can make you feel guilty for normal things even when they don't mean to!. At some point, your mom gave you the idea that it wasn't ok to be curious about your anatomy, sexualty, giving birth, ect!. I'm sure she didn't mean to - but when you're a kid, it's easy to misunderstand adults!. (she could have just felt you were too young to know that kind of thing)
it's really your choice, you don't HAVE to tell your mom everything; that's a normal adolescent thing; sooner or later we all stopped telling our moms stuff!.!.!.!.!. or you can tell her the truth!. That you were just curious and wanted to know (they're going to be going over that in school pretty soon anyway)

well you have no reason to feel guilty at all b/c the people that post those videos up there are doing it for a reason which is to share their birthing story and to help educate about child birth!.
As for your mom i honestly don't think she would get mad at something like that b/c its not a sexual video its a natural video which she has went through with you so you shouldn't have to feel guilty about wanting to learn!.
If you do want to tell your mom i would suggest saying: Mom i want to talk to you about something!. and I would like you to promise to listen to me and don't get mad with what im about to tell you, which you really have no reason to be upset anyway so dont worry but recently I really been curious about childbirth and what a woman goes through so i looked it up on the computer and watched a couple videos of live childbirth!. It looks (fill in the blank) and I was wondering if you could tell me more about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

because you're 12, and 12-year-olds are lame!. and that's not to be mean or anything, but when you get older you'll realize that it's not that serious, and you were kinda lame for thinking it was!. you're just curious!. it's understandable!.!. and to be honest, i think your mom would understand too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
