Answers:
Yep you can tell your doctor!.
Doctor-patient confidentiality means that however much your doctor might want to tell your mum- they can't!

Your health is more important than worrying!. Seriously they can't tell your mum, and your doctor hears these things all the time and probably knows other patients family members too!.

Call ahead, and explain the situation to the nurses!. Legally they can't tell your mom anything!. Have them put a note up on your chart so when they pull it, someone can explain to your mother you have to see the doctor alone since you're 18!. Make sure you sign a new HIPPA form preventing the office from telling her later!.

Or, change doctors!. Seriously!. Cancel the appointment and find a new doctor you can trust!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes tell your doctor its against the law for the doctor to say anything to your mother ANYTHING! Its confidential! My doctor even told me that if i wanted to have sex or needed condoms (dic and mom are close) she isint even aloud to say anything NOR would she!. Just tell your doc to keep it on th down low and tell your mom you need to be a big girl and do it yourself because she cant be there for you all the time (it always works)Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are going to see a gyno, I would tell the doctor (he or she will know when either performs the exam anyway)!. Tell him/her that this information is to be kept confidential since you are now 18!. While you are there, you should discuss birth control options as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should just be honest cause all the doctor has to do is take a peek down there and they will know you are not a virgin! You should maybe tell your mom! but the doctor can not share any medical info even if they are friends i would still tell your mom, when i told my mom she was not mad just concerned!Www@Answer-Health@Com

there is nothing to worry about! your doctor cannot tell your mother about any health related things unless you sign a release form saying that he or she can talk to your mom or else he or she will lose their medical license! just don't sign the hippa form and you will be fine!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just rember if the doc says anythng to your Mom you can sue his @ss,why dont you call the doc and change the appointment without saying anything to Mom then maybe she will realise your no longer a child!.
Get over itWww@Answer-Health@Com

Your 18 now just expline to your mom that you have had sex!. Tell her when you lost it tho cuz she might think you lost it a long time ago and just kept it a secret!. Just tell her everything will be fine!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

have ur mom not go in the doctors room with you, and if she ends up going in with you and the doctors is like oh so i've see that you've lost ur virginity!.!. or popped ur cherry!. say that it's from a tampon! Www@Answer-Health@Com
