Ok so my ears (mainly the left one) have been hurting for about a month now!.!. well for a few days now the pain has actually gotten worse and it hurts for longer periods of time!. I've been using OTC ear drops for like 2 weeks now but it says to not use it for more than 48 hours and to consult a doctor if pain persist!.

1!. What could be wrong with my ears!?!?
2!. Should i schedule a doctors appointment for it!?
and finally
3!. How will the doctor determine its some type of inflammation or infection!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Sounds like an ear infection!.Go to the doctor!.That's the only way to get rid of it!.All they have to do to find infection is to look in your ear and they will see if it is irritated!.Ear drops dont do very much for that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Schedule an appointment with an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist (M!.D!.)!. He'll examine your ear!.

Don't try to self-medicate!. Ears are very delicate things!. You should not put anything into it at all!. The doctor will examine it with an otoscope (a lighted instrument)!. The otoscope is not painful -- but your earache is! Get something done promptly, before it causes deafness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ear infections are common!. I had two!. I let the first one go unattended like you are and I was sorry!. I wound up with an inner ear infection and it affected my equilibrium!. I was dizzy and could barely walk until I went to the doc and got anti biodics!. It took me about 3 days before I was stable again!. That was a bad experience!. The second time I immediately went to the doctor!.
Don't delay this get it looked at!.

Go to the doctor!. He will look in your ears and make a determination if you have an infection!. I'm not sure why you waited this long to get it looked at, but you should do it soon!. Prolonged ear infections can cause hearing damage!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd make an appointment for sure!. Having gone on this long you don't want it to become a chronic problem, or cause permanent damage or hearing loss!. You're best bet is to see a professional!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
