Question: My moms boyfriend and my period!?
Ok my mom had to go on a business trip!. I will be with her boyfriend 3 more days!. I just started my period for the first time! My mom uses tampons I don't know how to!. Her boyfriend is the only person I will see for three more days!. I do not have an aunt grandma etc!. I just moved here friday!. Should I tell him!? I really like him we re really close!?

If you feel comfortable enough talking to him about personal things then tell him because he will understand!. Men now adays are aware about what women have to deal with when they are menstruating!. He will probably be willing to go to the store and get you what you need or at least give you some money to get it yourself!.

Yeah, I would tell him that you need to go to the store to get some feminine hygiene products and that you need some money if you don't have any!. I wouldn't use tampons for your first period!. Ask him for some extra cash(you dont need to tell him why if you dont want to however if you feel comfortable telling him then go for it!. On the way to the drug store just fold up some toilet paper to use as a temporary for the pad!. And then go down to your local drugstore and pick up some pads!. If you feel that you can, just tell him!. He is an adult that has dealt with women having periods all of his adult life!. DO NOT TRY TO USE TAMPONS! I wound up in this position with my stepdad once!. I think I was about 13!. I finally got up the nerve and just blurted out what I needed!. He didn't have any trouble with it at all!. I said to him: You're not embarrassed!? He said: "Why should I be embarrassed!. The store clerk knows they're not for me!." We both got a chuckle, and he went right to the store!.

i was in another country when i first got my period and even my friend couldnt tell me how to work a tampon!. (its actually the simplest thing ever when you get the hang of it) just use pads!. and dont stress about telling your moms bf if you need too, hes a grown man, he wont be weired out!.
