The Pill is an excellent form of birth control!. It is however, subject to human error!.

If a woman isn't good about remembering to take pills, or doesn't take care to take The Pill every day at the same time, there is a chance that it can be ineffective for her and not reliable to guard against unwanted pregnancy!.

Today, we see an increasing amount of women who are "backing up" The Pill with condoms and the Today Sponge!. This is also great because The Pill does not protect against STDs or HIV/AIDS!.

Using a "backup" method with The Pill is a good idea, and will give you 100% protection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No birth control method is effective, sure, but then that is what you take into consideration when you become sexually active - if you don't want to have a kid or have an abortion (or other options) then don't have sex!. The risk is not so much a risk if you are informed and responsible enough to know that in having sex you may get pregnant!.

I personally use a coil (copper), these have failure rates of less than 1% per year, although my last coil fell out and a recent ultrasound showed my current coil sitting very low
