Wash your hands and unwrap a fresh tampon!. Stand or sit in a comfortable position: some women find it easiest to crouch down with knees apart or to stand with one foot on the toilet seat or bath!. Hold the applicator (where the ridges are on the tube) with the thumb and middle finger of one hand!.With the other hand spread the folds of skin around the vaginal opening!. Place the tip of the outer tube of the tampon applicator (not the end with the cord hanging out) in the opening of your vagina!.The vagina slants upwards towards your back!. So, gently slide the applicator in an upwards and backwards direction!. (It sometimes helps to slightly rotate or twist the applicator from side to side)!. Stop pushing when your thumb and finger touch your body!. Still holding the applicator on the ridges, push the bottom of the small tube completely up inside the big tube!. This slides the tampon out of the applicator and into your vagina!. Hold tightly onto the two tubes that are now one inside the other!. Gently take out both applicator tubes together!. (Wrap them in tissue and put them in a bin!. The cardboard tubes can also be flushed away!.) You'll see that the cord of the tampon is now hanging down outside your body!.It is really easy to insert if you are completely relaxed!!! hope i helped!.!.=)))) If you insert the tampon right, you won't feel it!!! you have to change it every 6 hours though!.!. wear the right size tampon for your flowWww@Answer-Health@Com

ah, swimming while facing the red tide!.!.!.

not fun!. You need to know what size tampon to use!. Don't go for the biggest ones unless you soak through a regular one!. Don't go for a light unless you don't get any more than a speck on a regular one!. Mostly, just get regulars!.

Secondly, you'll know if it's going in the wrong hole is it hurts and doesn't go up!. When inserting, tip it so the part that puts the tampon in is facing toward your back!. Push it up until it gets to the grippy part of the applicator!. Push the end of applicator until it clicks (plastic applicators go in the easiest, in my opinion)!. Pull out applicator and voila!

And if you insert it correctly, you don't feel it at all!. You'll know if it's not in right!. And don't worry if it takes a few tries to get it right!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Surfgirl has wonderful info!. Do not practice unless you are having your period!. Tampons do not come out very easy if they are dry, it can hurt!. Definately take her advice on not leaving them in too long because of Toxic Shock Syndrome!. I would have to do some more looking on that but there should be some information in the tampon box about TSS, it is rare though!.

You should not feel it at all if it is in properly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you can, get a mirror and practice at home!.
your vagina is the hole between your anus and your pubic area!.
as for how far in to put the tampon!.!.!. you know how there are two
parts to a tampon!?
i grip the spot where they overlap, and push until my fingers hit
my body!. then i insert the actual tampon, and pull out!.
i guess it's different for everyone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

enter the tampon in the second hole!. the first hole is your pee hole the third hole is your butt hole!. it should NOT hurt!. if it hurts its either in the wrong hole or it is not pushed in far enough!. your period should not stop you from doing the activities you have planned!.
