ok so heres the deal!.!. im 16!.!. and was on marvelon birth control but am not taking it for this month!.!. in the middle of the day today!.!. i got this brown stuff coming out of me!.!. i thought ok end of period but my period was a week ago(or just about)!.!. then later today it was like bright red!.!.like period blood color!.!. and that got me abit worried!.!. cuz it cant be my period!.!.i had it like 5 or 6 days ago!.!. and so cant be the end of it either!.!. then my bf mentioned like maybe u had a baby and it died!.!.since i was sick with mono and not eating much!.!. and then i was getting worried!.!. its also VERY VERY VERRRY heavy flow!.!. like not spotting !.!.like a normal period!.!. iv went threw like 5 tampons since noon!.!. abd now im getting abit worried!.!. i have no idea why its like this!.!. also !.!.the type of mono i had was one that made ur spleen oversized if that could effect anything but proably not!.!. just puttin it in here just incase!.!. but im just worried!.!. please help!.!. i really only want serious answers cause im very anxious over here!.

Girlllllllll you need to go to your doctor immediately Bleeding is serious period or no period!. Where's your mother ask her Now is not the time to be shy or fearful!. Grow up now and be responsible!. If you are responsible to have a boyfriend then you should be responsible enough to take care of your body!. You only have one life and you're so young!. This seems serious and anyone who's every been to a doctor or have children like I do!. 3 to be exact is going to tell you the same answer!. Quit being secretive with your love ones around you and tell them the truth so that they can help you!. Don't delay and abortions cause heavy bleeding as well!. I've been a teen and the fact that you didn't state that you spoke with your mother leaves me wondering why you're being so secretive!. Second: it's mostlikely because u stopped taking ur birthcontrol pills and ur body's not accustom to it!.
Thrid: go see a doctor and get an ultrasound done on ur pelvic area!. Make an appointment w/ ur OB Gyn!. chances are, it's going to end up being something you cant really handle on ur own (unexplained period and all)Www@Answer-Health@Com

This would depend on a few things!. When you say you aren't taking it this month does that mean you haven't taken it for a whole month!? This would make a difference!. If you have been on the pill for a while your body has not had anormal period and is trying to compensate and regulate itself!.

I'm not a doctor and I could be wrong!.!.!. but I have problems with my period!.!.!. sometimes I will get it twice, or even three times in one month!. It sounds exactly as you are describing!.

you said you were on birth control but are not taking it this month- that's probably the problem!. you're body is probably just adjusting!. it usually takes awhile for your body to adjust after stopping the pill!. try not to stress about it too much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Even if you've already had your period (while taking the BC) and then you stop it you will bleed again!. That's why I hate BC!. I always used to forget to take it and I ended up having a period two times a month!.

Stopping birth control will definitely trigger irregular periods!. Visit your gyn to make sure everything's ok!
