Question: So I JUST started taking birth control pills!.!.!.!.!.!?
I've been having irregular periods so my doctor suggested I start taking BCP!. I was supposed to get my period on the 3rd of this month but after waiting 20 days I decided to just start taking the pills!. She put me on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo and this is only my second day but I've already just started spotting about 3 hours after my 2nd dosage and now my lower abdominal area is cramping!. Is this normal!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah, you were probably due to start your period anyway!. Keep taking the pills, even when you are bleeding!. They'll eventually control when you bleed!.
If you are getting bleeding at any time other than when you are taking the placebo pills after three months, go back to your doctor as you will need a stronger prescription!. It'll still be stong enough to prevent pregnancy, juts not strong enough to control bleeding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
