It's the same as everything else, personal choice!. I personally choose to wax, only because PERSONALLY I don't like the look of pubic hair (there is nothing wrong with it either)!. medically speaking, pubic hair serves little purpose in today's world, it does not prevent infection, that is a myth!. The main purpose of pubic hair, dates back to a time when we were all running around naked, pubic hair was an indication to males that the female was of reproductive age!. Women should only shave/wax if they want to, they should not feel pressured into doing so just because their boyfriend likes it and thinks it is normal just because porn stars do it!. It really is, as I said, personal choice!.

Er, there is no correlation between having a bald vagina and trying to look like a child!. Some people just prefer not to have pubic hair!. It will not create infection just because you wax and shave AS LONG AS you do it correctly!.

Pubic hair is one of our secondary sexual characteristics, it won't really help fight off bacteria!. It is an indicator of sexual maturity!. There is no scientific evidence that shows other than maybe keeping dust and dirt out (this dosen't really apply now because we all walk around with clothes on) that it will help prevent infections

There is a fashion trend at the moment for trimming or removing the pubic hair, be it shaving it, clipping it short or waxing to remove!.

I use to shave, but not anymore!. Now I just keep it nice and trim!. I prefer not to shave it 1 because it's to much of a hassle and 2 is because removal of the pubic hair makes you more vulnerable to several different types of infections (in the VAG area) so for me i'm not going to risk it, it's not not worth it!. I think shaving the pelvic area isn't the best way forward, as it can cause unsightly infections!. What I do, is trim it, so that it is very short and nice to look at! lol
