Never, ever flush a tampon or sanitary pad! This will clog the toilet and ultimately embarrass you!. You need to wrap it up and throw it out!. Some schools have little boxes on the side of the toilet just for this reason!. If yours does not, you just wrap the tampon up in toilet paper and discreetly carry it to the trash can to dispose of!. Tampons can be flushed, but that doesn't mean you SHOULD!. I never flush tampons when I use them, I just put them in toilet paper and throw them in the trash!. It's better safe than sorry and having to explain why the toilet you used is overflowing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
