What can help with pms mood swings?!

Question: What can help with pms mood swings!?
I just started my period today and I'm really emotional, stemming from the fact that my parents might not let me see my boyfriend because they think we might be moving too fast!. [We've been together for 2 years and haven't had intercourse!. It's not too fast]!. I'm having some really bad thoughts that I don't want to have, and I'm just crying and feel terrible!. My mom's had me take primrose oil for a while, and it's definitely not helping!. I also don't really want to do anything cause my cramps are kinda bad!. The only thing I can think of that would make me feel better right now would be seeing my boyfriend and talking to him and having him hold me, but even if I'm able to, I can't see him till 8 cause he's working!.

I'm 15!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take 2 ibuprofen like Advil or Motrin!. Ibuprofen helps suppress hormone surges, should relieve the cramps!. Exercise, even though you don't feel like it right away, will help relieve the cramps and lift your mood!. You'll feel better once you get moving!. Eat chocolate because it tastes good and lifts your mood!. I mean chocolate like Hershey bars or M&M's, not like chocolate ice cream or cake because I think you need it more concentrated- dark chocolate is even better!.

That's wonderful that you and your boyfriend have such a meaningful relationship without sex!. At age 15, I can see why your parents are afraid of you getting sexually active with this boy and having an unplanned pregnancy!. You might want to inform yourself about birth control methods at plannedparenthood!.com, because many of these serious teen relationships do lead to sex!. They're also worried about this boy breaking your heart because most teen relationships will end!. Your parents must love you very much and want to protect you!. They will respect you even more if you have a discussion with them about what this relationship means to you, and what physical involvement you have this boy!.

I feel for you dear!. Explain to your parents that holding you back from seeing your boyfriend will not solve anything!. Talking to you about abstinence will prevent what they are worried about which is you having sexual intercourse and possibly getting pregnant!. I don't think the mood swings are entirely all from your hormones!. I think the fact that you are told that you can't see someone you love very much is more of the issue!. Try talking with them again!. Good Luck dear!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

15 is such a hard age to be, isn't it!? My daughter is just 16 so we are still going through it! As to what your parents are imposing, I'm sure they are doing what they think is safest for you, even though it doesn't seem like it!. If you try to be mature about it they may back down a bit!. As to PMT symptoms, there are some very good natural supplements you can use to help such as zinc and iron tablets!. The evening primrose oil sometimes helps with cramps but not always!. If you respect your parents views (and I do know what arguments happen between parents and teenagers!) then they may see that you are mature enough to be trusted!. I wish you luck with all aspects of your dilemma!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
