What are the risks of a breast reduction?!

Question: What are the risks of a breast reduction!?
And what is the difference between a breast reduction and a breast lift!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
In a reduction they reduce the size of your breasts, and usually do a lift at the same time

In a lift, they work with the muscles to physically LIFT the breasts from their current position - usually without reduction

there are many risks - of course any time you are put under there is a risk - infection is a huge risk - there is the risk of not being able to breast feed - and a botched plastic surgery procedure can lead to several complications

i have considered it myself as I have large breasts - but i have decided to wait until i'm all done having children - cause they will only get worse, and it is very important to me to breast feed (16 weeks pregnant!)

Be sure the DR you are going through is GOOD at what he does - ask to see previous pictures, patient testimonials - and maybe try to find somewhere you can research the DR and his past procedures to see any issuesWww@Answer-Health@Com

You need to find an accredited PLASTIC SURGEON to do the surgery, not a regular doctor!. Make sure you can see before and after pictures of surgeries he's done and ask him for references you can call about their experiences!.

I had some infections with my reduction and my scarring is pretty bad - very choppy!. Even then I still do not regret having the surgery!. I had it at 22 years old!. I need another one after having a child at 30, and one of these days I will go back for one and to have corrective surgery on the scars!. Alot of women I've talked to also have severe scaring as well, so this is not abnormal!. Oh and I could not breastfeed, I barely had any milk come out!.

If you are close to having children within the next two or three years I would consider waiting!. You will only need another one after your children!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My best friend had all kinds of infection with hers!. My other friend didn't have any problems, just healed up quick!. Any surgery has risks, you just have to be sure you are willing to take those risks!.

The breast reduction is taking away, and the lift is simply making your nipple higher and bringing the skin together like a triangle cut in the skin under your breast!. It is just how it sounds!. Best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

A reduction reduces, a lift, lifts!.

However, 99!.999% of the time both will be done at the same time!. If you find a PS who charges separate for both, run away!

There are risks to every surgery!. You need to pay attention to the doctors orders and ask the doctor for any concerns about your healing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
