Is it normal to have breast swelling five days before my "would-be" pe!

Question: Is it normal to have breast swelling five days before my "would-be" period!?
I'm on Seasonique, so I don't get a period every month!. I'm on my 7th week of pills, and next week would be my "period", if I got one!. I noticed my breasts are larger than usual!. Is that normal!? Am I ovulating!? Could it be the hormones from the birth control pills making them larger!?

I used to take Ortho Tri-Cyclen, but switched to Seasonique!. With the Ortho, I didn't gain weight or have my breasts get bigger!. But I have noticed with Seasonique, I've gained five pounds and my breasts are sore and larger than usual!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes, it is perfectly normal to have this symptom!. Birth control pills work by tricking your body into thinking you're pregnant, which stops the ovulation from occurring!. It can also cause pseudo-pregnancy side effects, such as breast enlargement and soreness!. This does not necessarily happen to all women, and different brands of pills can affect you different ways!. But generally, this is a common side effect!. It is also normal to have breast tenderness as a PMS symptom before you have your period!. Mine do this all the time during PMS!. If you have been taking your pills on time every day and using condoms, I seriously doubt you are ovulating or pregnant!. Don't let your breast issues make you worry about stuff that is highly unlikely!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Everyone has a different reaction to different types of pills!. What you have told me is defiantyl symptoms that you have a reaction to the pills!.You may want to talk to your doctor and ask if he/she would suggest you changing pills!. Your breasts getting bigger and your weigth increasing is actually normal reactions to many pills!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
