My period started at age 12!. It was very inconsistant and light at first, I barely knew I had it!. It was almost a year before I had regular monthly periods!. I hope you have someone to talk to about it, my mother didn't talk to me before hand and I listened to an older sister of a friend - I thought once you 'got your period' you bled every single day for the rest of your life haha!. Best wishes to you, some girls don't get theirs until they are a few years older!. The longer it holds out, the better! Don't think you are any less of a woman because you don't get it by a certain age - consider yourself lucky :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

12!.8 is the average age!. (I was a late bloomer, ha ha)!.
It can began as early as 8 and as late as 16!.
If you do not have yours by 17, consult a gynecologist!. By 17, all women stop developing and are fully grown adults who have the full capacity to carry children, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

girl it varies for everyone, some as young as 11/12 some as late as 15/16!. if your almost 20, then you should ask the doctor but no worries, it's not fun to have anyways so hope your not looking forward to itWww@Answer-Health@Com
