I lose power in my legs for a few minutes everyday?!
Question: I lose power in my legs for a few minutes everyday!?
I gave birth in march this year and since then Its happened!. It happened maybe once a week to begin with now its almost everyday!.
My mum thinks it has something to do with the epidural but I'm not sure as I'm not in pain when it happens!. I just have a weak sensation go down my thighs and now its happening with my arms!. I'm worried about dropping the baby!. I have to sit down before it passes!.
I've mentioned this to the doctor who examined my back and said i was fine!. But the problem isn't my back!.!.!.
If any nurses or doctors on YA could help me I'd be very grateful!.
ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Keep going until someone gets it!. There is something going on and you are your own advocate!.
Just a thought I had a friend who had something similar but it started within a few days of giving birth!. For her it was only her arms - which at times were next to useless!. She couldn't be alone with her baby, in case she dropped him!. Her diagnosis was nerve damage very low in the spine caused by the baby hitting her spine during delivery!. He was a posterior birth!. It came right with a little physio -- took about 6 months I think!.
I don't know if that helps in your case, but at least you know you are not alone!.
Keep looking for answers, don't give up!.
Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go back to your GP who is totally unqualified to determine the nature of your problem and tell them you want to be referred to a specialist - most likely a neurologist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
There are too many factors involved here!.
You need to go see your primary care physician in order to be examined in person!. Sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
