I believe I got I got my period around the age of 13, but my younger sister got it at the age of 11!. But don't worry! You still have plenty of time before you need to be worried!. I know a girl who didn't get her period until 17!. Besides, periods are a pain in the backside!.!.!. literally! You should be glad you still have a little time before you have to 'surf the crimson wave!.' You time will come! :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

once you get it you'll realize it sucks, especially on beach vacations, it only seems like a big deal now!. luckily i dont get cramps but instead i get nausea so yeah, not fun!.

I got it ON my 14th birthday!. I had my friends over at my house and felt it, ran to the bathroom and took one of my mom & sisters pads!. I didn't tell my mom until after everyone left, but 13 is not too late!. My mother and sister both got it at 14 as well, but not ON their birthday like me!. Generally you will probably get it when your mom or other close female family members got it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mine occurred between 6th and 7th grade in the summer, so I'm guessing that's around 12 or 13!. That was in 1986 or 87, so I don't remember exactly!.!.!.!.!. But, some girls don't start until 16, so don't worry and BE SO GLAD!!! It's not something to look forward to, trust me!Www@Answer-Health@Com
OMG dont rush it!! lol its the best thing ur missing in ur life!!!! i got mine at 12, my mo got hers at 10 and my sister at 13!. A girl i went to school with was VERY athletic n didnt get hers til she was 16 or 17 n shes healthy as a horse lol!. Dont worry about it ur fine!. Actually, u should consider yourself lucky u dont have to worry about cramps, leaking, starting without a pad or tampon, etc!. Now if ur 20 n still dont get one, Id be concerned but everyone "blooms" at their own pace!. Chill baby girl n smile cuz u deserve to:)Www@Answer-Health@Com
