Question: Evra birth control patch?
I've read many questions on here about asking how reliable it is, and many answers said it was amazing, and others said they got pregnant on it. It is the same as any other birth control, you have a 1% chance of getting pregnant, was it just something they did? or does it really not work well?

it works the same as the pill, but with any kind of birth control there is a small chance of pregnancy. studies show that it can be slightly more effective than the pill just because people are less likely to forget to take/replace it compared to the pill
i've also never had problems with itching, and it has never become at all loose, or fallen off
i used it after i had my son.. the main issue is it becomes unstuck and gets itchy.. which of course you scratch and it becomes more unstuck.. luckily i didn't catch.. but i can see how people would..
