Question:
Strange period or something else?
My husband had a vasectomy in November of 2009. He had two samples that tested negative for sperm and we were given the all clear in February 2010. I have had fairly regular yet somewhat long periods since coming off of Ortho Evra in February of 2010 sometimes lasting 10 days. I had my last period on January 16th and it was normal lasting 5-6 days. this past Saturday I spotted and thought that I was going to start and did a small amount on Sunday and nothing since then. The combined total for both days would probably equal a tablespoon at most. I do not feel pregnant at all but I find this to be really strange that I can go from 10 day periods to barely 2 days. Has this happened to anyone else? Thoughts?

You did get a negative sperm sample, but it only takes ONE, right? You could just be having irregular type periods from weaning off the hormones (ortho evra) or you could possibly have an ectopic pregnancy. If this continues, or you get a fever, or pain in the abdominal area - around your ovaries - go to the ER immediately. This could be a serious condition. Check with your doctor about this.
Your body is still adjusting to not being on the birth control. It may take awhile for your cycle to go to a normal routine.
