Deep breaths...?
I keep having to take deep breaths in order to breathe normally. I don't have athsma, I don't have high blood pressure, but I feel like it's hard to breathe and I'm not running around or walking I'm just sitting down! Why does this happen? It's not the first time it's happened.

I would get short of breath and a tight feeling in my throat like I couldn't breathe and it tuns out it was due to stress and panic attacks. This may not be your problem, but you should ask your doctor about it.
I have been doing yoga and this has taught me the value of stopping for a minute and forcing myself to take several deep inhales and exhales. It always passes and I feel better afterwords.
But until you know its not just stress, makes sure its not medical problem.
