well first of all. how old are you? sex is not just physical, make sure you and your partner can accept the emotional effects of sex as well. don't make rash decisions just based on spur-of-the-moment thoughts. think it through well before you make your decision.
i wont criticize your decision to have sex, as me and my bf started having sex when i was 16. he was 17 and was not a virgin; however, he did not pressure me into doing anything. i do know that my decision was well thought out and i know that i love my bf very much and dont regret my decision.
when a girl has sex for the first time, her hymen breaks. depending on the girl, this may or may not be painful. in my case: the first time i had sex, it did hurt at first, but it lasted for a long time and it became more pleasureable than painful. after the first time i had sex, it was not painful at all. but this varies depending on the person.
just make sure you talk to your bf about using birth control. condoms are usually the easiest form of contraception to obtain. dont worry about it "ruining the moment"- it is much better to use a condom and be safe than to act on impulse and not use a condom and to end up pregnant.
just remember, dont do it just because your bf wants to or if your friends are doing it. as long as you know that YOU want to do this and that you are ready, go for it. i know that having sex deff. made my relationship with my bf alot stronger. and dont forget to use birth control=]
