Women only-personal question!?
My friend,Cheyenne, has not started her period yet. She actually wants to start! Anyway, she asked ya'll for some advice. She says that she just had a cramp at 7:58 AM today and every time she goes to the bathroom there is white stuff in her underwere and she has been having direah a lot lately.
So, ladies, what do you think? Is she about to start her period, or can I give her a few months?
By the way, she is 13 1/2. Thanks a lot.

It sounds like she has a stomach virus. Diarreah is not a normal sympton of getting a period.
The white stuff is discharge and is completely normal. She'll be getting that every month after she starts her period and is completely normal unless is changes color/texture or starts to really smell.
There is no way to really tell when she will actually get a period. She'll get it when her body feels it is ready to support a pregnancy (that's why we get them in the first place). And then it will be very irregular for up to 2 years.
Most important, don't rush it. Once she gets it, she'll have it for 30-40 years, and will long to go back to the days pre-period.
