I have had my period for 16 days now...? :'(?

Okay, I have irregular cycles and I need to go to the doctor, I know---it has never lasted longer than 7 days before. I am now going on day 17!!!!!!!!

What could be wrong with me?
How do I make an appointment for the doctor when I don't know when it's going to end??
Can I go to the doctor if I am still having my period?

Thank you so very much. I will call a doctor. I just moved and don't have one. I also don't have insurance. How much can these tests run? Can I go to planned parenthood? Thanks again!

No, not on birth control.

Aren't you taking a medication including acetyl salicylic acid (or other like aspirin) for instance?
It's a possible cause of a lasting metrorragia (bleeding from woman genitalia).
Your doctor will ask you this kind of question and make full examination too.( Colposcopy, hysteroscopy,echotomography, cervico vaginal smear, blood tests and Xray ,Tdm).
